Ethernet Provisioning - What is a Wayleave?

A wayleave is a legal agreement in writing that outlines access, and permission is available to install, maintain, repair and or adjust equipment on a 3rd parties land.

Fusion install many services where our clients rent office space and wayleave is required, but landlords aren’t always keen to provide consent.

Why should a landlord accept fibre installations at their premises?

1) Stability, performance and service commitment are all major features of fibre. Your tenants will be able to utilise the service for any application no matter how demanding.
2) If your office has fibre services, it will be the preferable location over an office without fibre.
3) Adds value to your office space. It may be more expensive due to its facilities, but the cost of delivering fibre to a more remote or alternative location could be even more expensive.
4) Bandwidth can easily scale as your tenants business grows. They can take more office space, and upgrade bandwidth without any downtime.
5) It places no restrictions on potential bandwidth and provides your tenants with a long term location

So, an office space that is served with fibre will attract new tenants, keep existing tenants, and allow for business growth. Why wouldn’t a landlord grant approval?
